Of course, playing something out of our champion pools would not seem like the right thing to do for Solo/Duo queue and we may not be comfortable with the idea of it but Hell-No, the combination of acute game sense and proper team-composite makes climbing a lot easier for every elo. A counterpick is traditionally based on the abilities of a champion which go well against the abilities of your opponent (for example an ability of one champion may cancel/dodge the ability of another champion) and thus have an advantage on them in trades of damages, farm (creep score), towers or most importantly – getting in their minds. - Avoid clumping together to avoid the large amount of AOE damage he posseses.
